About the Department R&D Finance is part of Corporate Finance and is responsible for the financial management of the R&D organisation and projects. R&D Finance is a dynamic team consisting of 14 dedicated employees. Our overall aim is to create impact through Finance Partnering to our customers and stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. The Job As Global Project Finance Partner you will be responsible for ensuring financial control of key development projects in close collaboration with the Global Project Teams managing all aspects of the development projects. You will be responsible for the overall financial- and risk management of the late stage development portfolio creating transparency on financial implications of project development and composition. As Global Project Finance Partner you will play a key role in the global trial budgeting process which brings you close to the global development organisation and you will be responsible for developing and sharing best practices in the global development organisation. You will become a senior member of the R&D Finance team and is expected to lead and challenge processes together with your colleagues in R&D Finance. You will also be involved in various cross-organisational projects and ad hoc analyses in order to optimise the financial management of the development projects. Qualifications The person we are looking for are passionate about making a difference, good at establishing and maintaining relations and have strong analytical skills. You hold a master’s degree in business administration or economics with excellent results and have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience from an analytical function. You have an eye for details and at the same time a holistic approach to understanding and communicating. You will be working closely with colleagues across the organisation and across geographies, so strong communication, collaboration and relation building skills are critical qualifications. You are accustomed working with senior leaders, curious about the business behind the numbers, and an analytical approach to problem-solving. You thrive in a busy environment, bring a can-do attitude, and are a strong team player. Finally, you master the English language both in speech and writing and are willing to invest time and effort in personal and professional development.
