We are looking for an energetic and ambitious project- and purchase orientated business development person to work together with the young dynamic team at Scanavo A/S.

Product –Business Development Scanavo consists of a young, dynamic team, who all work hard and dedicated to introduce Scanavo’s Media Packing as well as SteelBook™ concept and brand to the movie and games industry. Scanavo still strives to be groundbreaking in development of new products within the current business area, but also with a increased focus on continuous development of the company in new directions, and with new products. That is why we now are looking for a new colleague for our team.

 

Primary Focus With reference to, and in close cooperation with our Business Development Director, your focus will be on many different sourcing-, purchase- and project tasks with different types of packaging. This also in close cooperation with the Business Development sales team.

Initially the sourcing and purchase tasks will concentrate on Eastern Europe and the Baltic states, establishing a new line of suppliers. You will also be involved in different tasks in cooperation with Scanavo’s Hong Kong/China team.

 

Personality and experience

• You are very enthusiastic and convincing as a person.
• You are proactive, powerful, and have an impact on people.
• You have preferably 2-5 years work experience
• You have the ability to search for, and find new potential suppliers, and you want to build a network of suppliers within the packaging area, and eventually other areas of Scanavo’s business development.
• You are ambitious and have a high work ethics.
• You are result-oriented and have the ability to negotiate the right price and quality.
• You are a team player, and ready to make the effort for achieving success.
• Your attitude and commitment, precedes your experience.

Languages You speak and write English at a high level. Danish and German languages are an advantage, but not required.

Travel Activities

You can expect some travel activities, when commencing the job, but when an appropriate network of suppliers is established, this will decrease. Typically, the duration of each travel will be around 1-2 days.
