In the Project Management Office (PMO) Manager role within Group Function IT you will be working closely with the Head of Data Engineering. Group Functions IT is responsible for the technology that is driving to make data one of the core assets in Nordea. Data is critical to our business and our customers. We harness the power of data to understand the needs of our customers, provide our customers with a true digital experience through all our contact points with them and tailor our products to best meet their needs. Data is also our primary ammunition in the fight against wrong doing and bad behaviour as it powers our defensive capability in Risk, Fraud and Financial Crime. Data Engineering are the team that are building the core Nordea data platform in collaboration with colleagues in business operations and other parts of Nordea technology. We are working to scale out the current Corporate Data Warehouse such that it becomes a general purpose platform that supports all of our business lines and help enable the Nordea simplification and digitalisation strategies. The position we offer You will be providing timely, accurate and transparent reporting across the project portfolio to ensure that all stakeholders are informed at all times. You will also be leading and implementing projects yourself, and preparing high quality analysis and decision making material on which the leadership team can make sound decisions. Key responsibilities include: •Define, manufacture and publish PMO KPIs •Implement and monitor agile workflows •Manage resource supply and demand forecasts across Data Engineering •Produce steering committee packs across the priority programmes •Perform cost analysis and performance variance analysis to enable decision making in cost optimization and strategic initiatives •Manage the vendor related costs to ensure that all costs are correctly captured and approved •Ensure that agile dashboards are provide accurate and up to date data to project stakeholders •Build an rapid onboarding process for resources (internal and external) •Manage operational risk reviews of the platform and coordinate with operational risk management In addition, it is important that you recognize that the job also involves some administrative tasks and reporting. The qualifications you need Previous experience of creating/redesigning a PMO function would be highly desirable.
