We are looking for a Business Controller to help us strengthen our financial business partnering in Corporate Facilities. About the department Corporate Facilities is part of Finance, Legal and Investor Relations in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for building projects, facility management and related services, space management and security throughout Novo Nordisk in Denmark. We consist of around 300 employees and are responsible for approximately 1 000 outsourced positions within our area of responsibility. The finance department in Corporate Facilities currently consists of ten employees with various backgrounds. Our work atmosphere is relaxed, with expectations for solid and dedicated performance. The job As Business Controller, you will be part of establishing the financial management in one of our vice president areas; Facility Services, a new area within our responsibility. You will assume the role as Financial Business Partner for the area and participate in the management team meetings, driving the financial agenda.Your work tasks will include being responsible for performing, driving and developing the monthly closing and internal reporting as well as participating in performing, driving and developing our budget process for the Facility Service area. Examples of work tasks: consolidation and finalisation of internal reporting, consolidation and finalisation of business plans, monthly challenge meetings with focus on financial business partnering, financial systems development and maintenance, monthly closing, challenging of monthly results, latest estimates and variance explanations.Further, you will participate in cross-functional projects as well as ad hoc financial analysis. Qualifications We expect you have recently completed a relevant degree (i.e. in finance, economics or engineering) with excellent results. Experience with a major financial system, especially SAP, is an advantage but no requirement.You have strong analytical skills and show a strong sense of responsibility, fully owning your work tasks while driving performance and continuous improvement. You need to bring an action oriented and proactive mind-set, being able to define vision and plans as well as independently executing and delivering on such.In addition to being fluent in written and spoken English, as well as a Scandinavian language, you should be a proficient user of IT tools and ready to invest both time and efforts in your personal and professional development.
