Responsibilities: Your overall responsibility will be to investigate different ideas related to wind turbine grid integration, high voltage configuration and electrical power conversion options. Your role will be to provide input related to Electrical Power concepts in Concept Development. You will furthermore be the point of contact towards the Electrical and Plant Power System groups which is the competence center for converter, high voltage and plant solutions in Vestas TSS. You will ensure Vestas also in the future can supply high quality, clean and reliable power on a large variety of markets with a large variety of power sources. Qualifications: Educational background: MSc in Electrical Engineering The Concept Development department is looking for a committed, energetic and self-motivated candidate who has the following essential attributes: Theoretical and practical experience with energy storage Understanding of energy consumption and energy supply in general Understanding of grid challenges and smart grid Understanding of wind turbines and wind power plants Competencies: Good communication skills Ability to think out of the box Open minded Able to work in an environment with a high degree of uncertainties Go do approach to obstacles in project execution Favors team work and cross organizational cooperation What we offer: Be a part of an environment where we challenge the existing products.
