Do you see yourself taking the lead on optimising procurement of services such as management consultancy, R&D services and financial services and can you help shape the future of procurement in Danfoss? Then you could be our new Global Category Manager for the Professional Services category in Danfoss Indirect Procurement. You will work with global supplier management, fulfilment of procurement targets and support divisional and business needs with strategic and tactical sourcing activities. The position is based at our Danfoss office in Nordborg or Kolding. Develop and implement global category strategies As Global Category Manager you will have a wide range of contacts both internally in the organisation as well as with your suppliers. You will get to work with procurement of a range of services such as management consultancy, R&D services and financial services. You will be driving a common agenda across different business units and can therefore look forward to an extremely varied and challenging job where your main tasks will be to: •Develop and execute global category strategy for procurement of professional services •Secure continuous roadmap of activities and projects for achieving cost optimisations and supplier consolidation •Initiate and drive savings and process optimisation together with stakeholders in the divisions •Lead negotiations of regional and global contracts •Cooperate and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders both on local and global level To succeed in the job you will need to thrive in juggling priorities and navigate in the field of multiple suppliers and stakeholders. Skilled procurement or consulting professional You have a master degree or similar in business, management, engineering or a commercial background and a proven track record within procurement and/or category management. Experience with procurement of consultancy services or indirect procurement in general is a plus. Alternatively you are a consultant who would like to work with procurement. In any case, you are goal-oriented and proactive and you have strong communication skills, stakeholder management and project management skills. You have an analytical approach and you like working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
