Drive and develop architecture and put your mark on a global digital platform As Senior Frontend Developer, you will enable the delivery of new impactful digital experiences, ensuring that our development is going in the right direction. The global digital platform consists of components ranging from backend services and integration to school system, e-learning, desktop applications, Apps, HTML/Web, assessment tools and more. As part of the new department, Business Innovation Solutions, you: Get responsibility for the UI/UX architecture of one or more applications and for reusing existing functionality and patterns, while developing new solution building blocks Participate actively in the blueprint, design, implementation and test phases and are responsible for using the right technology and the right architecture Work closely with the Architects on the LEGO Application platform to secure that the functionality and design is performed according to technical best practice and LEGO Business requirements Take ownership of the development plan as lead developer by coordinating developer teams as well as building a bridge between the UX, UI and backend development Ensure that QA is performed during design, implementation and testing phases, that complete unit and regression testing is performed and that UI designs follow the LEGO Brand guidelines Trusted to deliver a high-impact digital platform Our wish is for every child to succeed, as we believe that all children should be allowed to reach their full potential by getting an impactful learning. Creative and experienced developer with solid UX understanding To be successful in this role, you are an experienced developer preferably with an M.Sc. in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Web Development or similar. JavaScript is your second native language and you believe in following strong development principles like the Progressive Enhancement model. In addition, you will get to use your outgoing and collaborative personality when working with backend developers and UX in creative frontend designs. With your frontend passion, you pride yourself in staying on top of industry standards and new technologies.
