Hands-on manager responsible for long-term financial planning

Can you provide financial overview in a complex and rapidly changing group and do you want to have high impact? Join us as Manager in Group Reporting & Planning and become overall responsible for our long-term financial planning model and reporting to Group management and the Board of Directors. You will head a team of two persons, but your managerial tasks are second to participation in operational tasks. The department is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Reporting & Planning, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that we work as a professional, reliable and responsible company. The department is furthermore responsible for the Group’s budget/forecasting process and related analyses, internal monthly reporting, external quarterly reports and part of the annual report. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, there might be some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As manager, you will head the long-term financial planning team, where you will be responsible for coordination, consolidation and reporting of semi-annual Group-wide, long-term forecasts to Group management, the Board of Directors and our owners. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •maintain and develop the Group’s financial planning model •prepare financial forecasts, including coordination, consolidation, control, analysis and reporting •conduct internal valuation of the Group •perform impairment tests, including coordination, controlling and reporting •carry out ad hoc analysis and tasks, eg in connection with the upcoming IPO of DONG Energy Our financial planning model is a flexible Excel-based model providing asset-level transparency over the 2015-2025 horizon. The model is applied to capital budgeting, capital structure planning, valuation, strategic target-setting and quantification of strategic scenarios. Your profile You have a master's degree in finance, business administration or economy. Moreover, you have solid experience working as an analyst or team lead in a large company, or as a consultant. You have experience with forecasting and financial modelling, financial analysis, valuation, accounting principles, consolidation and reporting. Furthermore, you strong communication skills and a sound knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. It is important that you have a strong analytical mind-set and a structured approach to your work. Moreover, you have a personal drive enabling you to take initiative and perform at a high level. You have a sound understanding of your own competences and the ability to challenge consensus. In addition, you will pay high attention to detail and have the ability to perform under challenging conditions. It is important that you thrive on working in a constantly changing environment as you will be collaborating with many stakeholders and have many interfaces in your daily work. It is equally important that you enjoy taking the lead of your tasks and following them through.
