Only a couple of months ago, we revealed our new groundbreaking Velox platform for our next generation hearing aids. We are proud of this achievement and not afraid of calling it a paradigm shift in hearing care. At the core of the platform is our ability to test a complex digital system of both processors and BLE link layer. Consequently, our future hearing aid users will experience better ability to separate speech from background noise, be better at following conversations and not missing out. All of this not least because of the platforms ability to analyze the environment 100 times per second. The team In the hardware function, we have worked hard and dedicated in order to deliver the hardware foundation for the Velox platform, but we do not rest here. We are already looking into how we can further optimize our technology, and this is why we are looking for an experienced Hardware Developer, to assist our R&D Hearing Instrument Amplifiers and Connectivity devices (HIAC) group. The group consists of more than 40 highly dedicated and experienced engineers and is responsible for developing the electronics part of Oticon hearing aids and connectivity devices, using generic platform components and solutions. You will get a chance of designing electronics platforms against challenging requirements, with the assistance from experienced colleagues, state of the art CAD-tools and modern lab-facilities. Your main task is the integration of analogue and digital electronics, which includes: Design of baseband and RF circuits PCB layout with focus on EMC/ESD performance, signal integrity, reliability and cost Verification of electrical performance against requirements, e.g. distortion, noise, RF, EMC, ESD etc. in all relevant use cases We furthermore expect you to be used to the documentation of your own work by means of e.g. design specifications, test specifications and measurement reports. You must have experience from integrating electronics into commercial products and probably hold a B.Sc or M.Sc in Electronics Engineering. You are fluent in English, as it is our corporate language.
