SHFT is built to help you perfect your running technique, correct bad habits and make sure you run right. SHFT uses two pods, one for the foot and one for the chest, to build a complete picture of the way you are running. It combines a vast amount of collected running data with advanced analysis of your current running technique to give you real-time coaching instructions on how to improve your run.  

The company HQ, with its 25+ employees, is located at ITU in Copenhagen. US office will start up during 2016. Most of the company´s employees are working with data analysis and programming development.

The position

SHFT is growing, which brings an increased amount of development tasks for their data analytics and programmers. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced technical project manager to plan, manage and lead the many interesting tasks in our development department.  

Your tasks

Your tasks will primarily include the discipline within technical project management, which means you will be in charge of:

• Determine the demands and scope in cooperation with the senior developers and data analytics
• Planning and estimating the development tasks
• Resource allocation and tracking of progress
• Risk assessment and stakeholder analysis/-management etc.
• Reporting status to the management team and senior programmers
• Ensure documentation and quality assurance

Apart from the project management, you will also be involved in the ongoing growth of the department, systems, workflow, project model etc. It is important to SHFT to continuously reduce the turnaround of the projects without compromising with quality.

Your experience and personal competences

You have a minimum of three years of relevant working experience as a technical project manager. You have enough knowledge in programming to be able to estimate development tasks, know the expected time for the programmers to solve tasks as well as the assessment of overlap between tasks etc.

Your competence as a technical project manager has to be mastered at a high level. You are accustomed to planning, follow-up, deadline-management, scope-management and reporting to a team of programmers as well as a management team.  

SHFT expect that you, besides from your solid, practical experience, also have a theoretical background from your degree. You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and verbally.Your personal competences are just as important to SHFT as your professional. In addition to your strong personal drive, high energy level and vigor, you are not afraid to try new paths. As a person you are structured, has a clear focus on deadlines while being an positive person with an optimistic view on your tasks. You also like to go for a run from time to time, so you can follow the development of SHFT in real time.
