As Server Operation Specialist you will, participate in daily operation and changes management of all Windows servers in Nordea. We are hosting our most business critical systems such as Trading systems, E-banking and Financial application systems. You will be part of a Nordic team with around 13 employees and you will have a close working relationship with other departments within Technical Platforms. The position we offer Main goal of the team is to focus on operational stability and improve the good customer experience through excellent daily operation. We solve incidents, implement changes, upgrade and maintain our Windows servers. Equally important we also focus on problem management and finding the root causes for operational interruptions. It is important to improve the performance by enhancing the way we work, refine our documentation and processes. Right now Nordea is in a huge technical transformation where we dismantles all our old servers and build an entire new DC with modern equipment, high level of virtualisation and improved infrastructure. The rapid development in Nordea will provide you a challenging business day with varying workload in a dynamic team. The qualifications you need We are looking for a technical employee with working experience within Windows server Operation for both physical and virtual servers. Currently knowledge with Windows Server OS versions from 2003 to 2012 is desirable. Preferable you have an education within IT and some experience with Network technology, Remedy and ITIL. The job demands high level of independence and experience in making a decision when more solutions are possible and time is essential. It is important that you have the capability of thorough troubleshooting and likewise a high sense of quality in what you deliver. It is significant that you are systematic, takes responsibility, have a good mood and are a team player. English is our working language so you must be fluent verbal as well as written. Our workload is highly variable and this job will require some flexibility. After necessary training you will probably also take part in our 24-7 On Call service.
