Would you like to apply your 3D CAD and quality assurance knowledge to help shape elements that will ultimately ensure great play experiences for children across the world? Make sure we live up to our high standards As mechanical Engineer, you join 12 colleagues at the Part Design Re-order Department in Billund. Here, you make sure that elements of all moulds live up to the latest element standards, product safety requirements as well as building experience for the end consumer (the children). Specifically, you: Create the CAD foundation and make the technical documentation Collaborate with the E&M value chain and Design Lab to ensure that LEGO Element specifications are being made according to design and quality standards Ensure all constructed elements comply with the recent legislation related to product safety Continuously look for improvement opportunities applying LEAN as well as best practice sharing across functions Changing the world - brick by brick You will join a company where we strive to inspire, motivate and engage children around the world. In this position, you will help achieve this by ensuring elements are constructed in such way that we create value for the play experience through high quality in element design. Mechanical Engineer with 3D CAD and LEAN experience You are a mechanical engineer or technician within technical design You have experience with 3D CAD construction including working knowledge of quality assurance and LEAN principles Experience within product design and - even better - Design optimization in a production environment related to plastic would be a plus.
