Perhaps you could be our new outsourcing professional responsible for outsourcing of packaging and distribution and other clinical supply activities? About the department CMC Sourcing Support Department is responsible for all sourcing and outsourcing activities which support a constantly growing development project pipeline. Comprising ten experienced employees, the department is responsible for successfully executing sourcing and outsourcing activities, from selecting a competent collaboration partner, negotiating the contractual framework, to project management of the outsourcing project until all deliverables are completed. The department is a part of CMC Development in R&D and plays a significant role in bringing new medicinal products to the market. The position In CMC Sourcing Support, your primary responsibility will be managing the outsourcing of packaging and distribution and other clinical supply activities for several clinical trials (Phase I-IV). You will work closely with many internal stakeholders and are the link between the external partner, the CMC project team and the clinical supplies team. Therefore, it is important to secure alignment among the many internal stakeholders, towards the external partner. You are accountable for the success of the external collaboration and therefore responsible for establishing and maintaining agreements with the suppliers in a timely manner, and ensuring the progress and conclusion of the external partner’s project deliverables in accordance with the project plan. You will be responsible for the commercial performance of the partner and ensure that the appropriate level of supplier relationship management is in place. You will develop and follow relevant processes and SOPs within outsourcing of clinical supply activities to third parties. Qualifications You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science or business (e.g. supply chain) and have at least 4 - 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience working with outsourcing of supplies for clinical trials, in particular, packaging and distribution, is an asset. Furthermore, you have a solid understanding of processes related to CMC, clinical supplies, and/or clinical development. Experience in project management, supplier and supply chain management are advantages. You have solid knowledge, experience and understanding of project management and excellent stakeholder management skills. You are an excellent communicator and are comfortable and competent in dealing with a broad set of internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels. You are used to working in international and diverse professional groups and are service minded. You must be fluent in oral and written English. As a person you are proactive, independent and you are able to handle many projects at the same time. You enjoy working as part of a team, and you are able to use your own experiences and personal drive to make the best of the team you are in.
