Then you could be our new colleague in the Automation Engineering AEP department of FLSmidth. At our headquarters in Copenhagen you will join a group of technically minded colleagues who deliver reliable high-quality process and machine control systems to customers worldwide. Detailed Description Deliver high-quality control systems to customers worldwide Your primary role will be to participate in projects and to work with interface solutions between PLC systems and intelligent units. In overview, you will × Participate in control system engineering. × Develop PLC and HMI codes for interface intelligent units and smart devices. × Conduct feasibility studies of new solutions. × Prepare manuals and technical documentation × Participate in inspections and factory acceptance tests. × Provide support and trouble-shooting internally and externally. × Develop and optimise our competences and tools. As you will conduct inspections and provide support to customers onsite, you should anticipate 20-30 travel days. Job Requirements Result-oriented Engineer with knowledge of control systems (PLC & HMI) You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar and have solid experience with projects on control system solutions. Moreover, you have insight into a wide variety of different PLC brands, networks and fieldbus types, and you know how to configure/parametrise various types of intelligent units and smart devices, such as variable speed drives, medium voltage relays, motor starters and power monitors. You possess strong cooperation skills, and working in a multi-cultural environment comes natural to you. Furthermore, you are a powerful team player with an open mindset, and you focus on achieving results and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will be working in a global organisation where the main language is English, but if you master another major language, it will be a plus.
