Senior Network Consultant with technical responsibility for our IT infrastructure

Would you like to take part in the development of our core IT infrastructure? Join us and become Senior Network Consultant in our Core IT Infrastructure department. Together with 13 highly qualified and motivated colleagues, you will work with design, implementation, backbone, WAN and campus networks as well as operational security. We also handle all IT deliveries to new locations. Core IT Infrastructure is part of our Group function, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and IT. We focus our efforts on supporting the entire business, and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable, and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to deployment projects both in Denmark and abroad. Your key tasks will be to - be technically responsible for our MPLS backbone, based on Cisco equipment - be technically responsible for our Cisco WAAS, WAN accelerator platform - be technically responsible for our DMVPN platform, including maintaining certificates etc - be technically responsible for QoS design in our entire core infrastructure - be technical backup on Nexus datacentre components as well as Cisco ACE load balancers. You will also be part of our implementation team for our new Citrix NetScaler solution. Your qualifications and core competences include that you - have a higher IT-related education - hold a Cisco CCIE certification or alternatively are on CCIE level and have a strong desire to become CCIE certified - have the ability to understand, develop, and take technical ownership for our entire core infrastructure platform together with your colleagues - have some years of practical experience from a large enterprise of service provider network. Your core competences also include that you have strong knowledge of native IOS, IOS XE & IOS XRMPLS, IS-IS & BGP, NX-OS - Nexus 2000, 5000 & 7000, Cisco WAAS, Cisco DMVPN and QoS. Preferably, you also have knowledge of Cisco ACE, Citrix NetScaler, Cisco ISE, Cisco UCS, Cisco ACI, Nexus 9000, Software Defined Networks and Python scripting. As a person, you have an analytic and outgoing personality, enabling you to establish good working relationships with your colleagues and other business partners. You are comfortable working in a dynamic and complex environment, you are emphatic, and you have a high drive and an excellent technical overview on complex IT infrastructure.
