For our Offshore Engineering (OE) team in Vejle, Denmark, we are looking for a strong Project Manager (PM) to support the design team responsible for delivering tower internals solutions for Siemens off shore wind projects worldwide. As a person with high seniority and a proven track record within the wind industry, you will be part of a team of professional experts knowing everything there is to know about tower design, manufacturing and installation methodologies. As a Project Manager, you will have the responsibility of coordinating timelines and requirements from project start to project handover. What are my responsibilities? A strong PM is needed to take the lead of the 6.0MW tower as OE will be fully responsible for the delivery of a complete BOM (Bill of Materials) for future execution projects. Standard Units (modules) will be designed in our R&D department and handed over to OE while project specific designs will be designed within OE. The task is to collect information on project requirements and align with designers on what, when and to what standard we can deliver. Deliverables have to be aligned with the project TPM (Technical Project Manager) and visible in a project plan. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: • Gab analyses between “as is” design and coming execution projects • Planning of and Follow up on actions, constrains and deliverables • Agreement with resource owner to comply with project plan • Alignment with stakeholders What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have a background as Project Manager with relevant technical understanding combined with experience within leading high skilled professionals • You understand general company processes and are result and quality oriented • You are able to work and successfully communicate at different organizational levels in a multi-cultural environment, and you possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing • As a person, you are outgoing, structured and responsible and you have a methodical and detailed approach to your tasks • You are a dedicated team player with the ability to work alone and you understand the importance of keeping the goal and timeline • Experience with Team Center and SAP will be an advantage In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
