Would you like a challenging and exiting position, handling technical projects ranging from new production equipment to helping build brand new factories? Help keep projects on track As Project Manager in our Manufacturing Design & Implementation department, you manage a portfolio of projects across global LEGO Manufacturing sites. Your projects may concern everything from participating in building new factories, creating new set-ups and production platforms to replacement of machines and equipment, facilitating capacity increases and determining best practices. In doing so, you: Manage projects in the global project portfolio, including participate in building new factories, implementing set-ups, machines, equipment, improvements, standardisation initiative etc. Coordinate across several functional areas and secure alignment and commitment Plan and coordinate projects and initiatives with suppliers Drive R&D activities within our production set-up Join our connected community You will join a department responsible for running global manufacturing projects and a European, family-owned business known for its supportive, collaborative network and team structure. On a typical project, you will be working with a project team of anything between 4 and 30 people from on-site project groups to our Engineering department. We will help you develop a deep expertise and a thorough understanding of our international business. A great communicator with a strong technical background Because of the collaborative nature of your work, you will get to communicate with a wide array of stakeholders. You play a key role in making sure all stakeholders are heard and that projects stay on track, once a direction is agreed upon. Moreover, you enjoy working in a global setting, as you will be managing projects at production sites across the world. You have a natural interest in the technical area and you practice a hands-on approach to project management. You hold a B.Sc. within Mechanical Engineering or have a similar technical background You have 2+ years of experience from a similar job within production or engineering - perhaps from a project management position or production technology You are able to travel approximately 50-70 days a year You speak and write English effortlessly Bringing it to life "In Manufacturing Design & Implementation, we have a broad portfolio of projects, from strategic projects such as building new factories to R&D projects for production machinery and equipment.
