About the department The job is in Novo Nordisk Production, which is organized in 5 global business units with approximately 10.000 employees. We are part of the Biopharmaceutical business unit and we produce human Growth Hormone Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (hGH API). We are experiencing a huge growth in demand and thereby an increasing need for improving and optimizing our production. To help us manage this we need a brilliant Project Manager to continuously help us prioritize and set direction for initiatives that can help us deliver our business goals on long, medium and short term. You will be part of a Plant consisting of app. 100 engaged and dedicated employees delivering hGH API through a Fermentation and Purification unit. The Job You will have a key role in strengthening the existing portfolio of prioritized projects for our plant as well as helping identify and prioritize new ones, making sure that all are clearly linked to adding most value to our business objectives on long, middle and short term. You will be a trusted advisor for all management and expected to identify, propose and drive key improvements, as well as suggestions for prioritization. You will be in charge of driving your own projects, which you will be expected to manage independently securing timeliness in timelines, resource need, deliverables, deadlines, change management, communications and budgets. You will also have the task of securing a seamless flow of our product, coordinating all the logistics in order for our products to be delivered in a timely manner to our hGH API filling department. You will report to the Director of production. Qualifications You have +5 years of successful work experience, with a strong background in project management and have a talent for providing insights and advice on how to scope and prioritize the right projects to our site leadership. Furthermore you are good at securing buy in and commitment from key stakeholders and you are confident/natural at communicating with many organizational levels. As Project Manager you will off course also be the overall responsible for the project deadlines, budget and other change management activities. You have an academic background with a master degree in and engineering, science, business administration or equivalent. Preferably you have supplemented your basic education with project management and process improvement (LEAN) disciplines. You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. As a person you are pro-active, structured and action-oriented, and you are able to stay focused in a complex and challenging environment. You are a team player and excellent in building strong working relationships with all types of stakeholders. You have the ability to quickly learn new processes and to deliver without compromising on quality. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
