PTC Product Lifecycle Management Specialist-140000PR

The Center of Expertise (CoE) ensures that business IT services and related solutions are appropriately designed, developed and optimized across their lifecycle and that the integrity of IT solutions is safeguarded. When IT developments are handled by outsourcing partners CoE interacts with sourcing partners / external vendors on development activities and related governance to ensure quality in the delivery and safeguarding of existing solutions. CoE ensures continuous improvement and utilization of IT applications in order to maximize value and reduce risk. Responsibilities: Ensure that PTC solutions like Windchill PDMLink (Vestas runs PTC Windchill PDMLink, version 10.2 M010) continuously meet business requirements by proactive and reactive development and testing of minor enhancements. Safeguard and develop PTC/SAP interface in cooperation with stakeholders to secure continuous quality and maximum utilization of the PTC solutions and related interfaces in accordance to business requirements. Efficient and cost effective design and development of IT services where PTC related components are included by means of in-house maintained capabilities in combination with externally sourced services. Provide a consistent body of knowledge for evaluations of new opportunities, and accumulated knowledge of PTC solution design by means of: Governing all development and support activities to protect the integrity of the applications and eliminate conflicts between change orders and projects Ensuring optimal utilization of technical best practice and technical optimization of existing application Ensuring consistency and reuse of solutions by utilizing global standard solution designs and ensure existence and quality of documentatio Communicate with Vestas business stakeholders and users to ensure successful execution of projects and change Contribute to drive down total cost of ownership on PTC IT solutions operation and maintenance On demand from Business stakeholders provide knowledge and expertise for consultancy tasks Provide support for integrations, especially in connection to SAP, in order to keep a high level of quality in this strategically important solution. Coordinate and take the team leader role in connection to application development projects when needed. Participate in change advisory boards and coordinate application changes within the PTC solutions. Qualifications: Specialist skills in PTC solutions and knowledge about SAP components. High level of technical skills – especially in connection to development of PTC solutions. Broad knowledge on PTC application components. High level of coordination, cooperation, and collaboration skills. Additional information: Work location is Århus, Denmark but some travel activity is to be expected. Please apply online.
