Then you might be our new QC & Analysis professional. About the department The job is in the QC & Analysis department in the QPPV Office, an area of Global Safety, ensuring support to the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) in Novo Nordisk. Global Safety is globally responsible for handling adverse events, monitoring product safety, customer complaints and potential recalls ensuring patient safety worldwide. In the QC & Analysis department we are six dedicated colleagues split at two locations but working closely as a team. We are three colleagues placed in Bagsværd, Denmark and three colleagues placed in Bangalore, India. Since our unit is situated in both Denmark and India and also works with our affiliates in US and UK, you will work closely with many global colleagues. The primary responsibility of the Quality Control & Analysis department is performing Quality Control (QC) of individual case safety reports to ensure high data quality and to fulfil expectations from Regulatory Authorities worldwide. Furthermore we perform trending and analysis based on QC data to identify training needs or need for procedure updates and we work closely with case entry sites to align procedures across the units. The job You will perform monthly Quality Control (QC) of cases entered in the safety database together with your QC colleagues. Your key responsibility will be performing trending and analysis based on QC data and identifying root causes and solutions to ensure high data quality in collaboration with the case entry sites. You are expected to maintain and improve our data analysis tools and improve our work processes to ensure continuous QC process optimisation and excellent quality data deliverables. Furthermore, you are expected to develop and maintain a professional and good collaboration and relation with our stakeholders, both on employee and high-management level throughout Global Safety and the affiliates in UK and US. Qualifications You hold a Master degree in a biomedical discipline (Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or equivalent). You have proven experience with data analysis requiring advanced use of IT tools and you have experience within pharmacovigilance, quality or related discipline in the pharmaceutical industry. The role requires strong analytical skills, strong technical/IT skills and quality orientation, including the ability to focus on details and adherence to standards. Experience within project management or driving process or tool optimisations is considered an advantage. You speak and write English fluently. You have excellent cooperation and communication skills and have the ability to drive your own responsibilities independently as well as being a team player working closely with your colleagues on common goals.
