Job Summary An exciting administrative opportunity has arisen within SPX Flow Technology in Søborg, Copenhagen who are recruiting an internal Sales Assistant to the Gerstenberg Schröder sales team as well as the rest of the division. The Sales Assistant is responsible for providing diversified and confidential administrative duties, primarily with focus on ensuring quotations. The position requires a broad and comprehensive administrative experience, skills and knowledge of organizational policies, practices and procedures. Requires also a high level of tact and integrity due to exposure to confidential data. To succeed in this position an outspoken focus on administrative skills and on delivering quality is vital – and at the same time being able to coordinate, prioritize and ensure deliverables to support the success of the sales team. Responsibilities Prepares and reviews quotations, order confirmations for accuracy, makes corrections where necessary and sends to customers, agents and local offices. Responsible for coordinating and gathering information and data cross-functionally. Assembles and prepares material for presentations and meetings, including backup material, in general and confidential. Translates correspondence and texts of commercial and technical nature. Communicates effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management as well as sales and engineering. Other administrative responsibilities are part of the position – i.e. incoming correspondence; responds and/or transmits messages as appropriate; schedules appointments and maintains calendar for meetings and reports. Skills & experience At least 5 years of experience as sales/administrative assistant in a corporate (global) environment. Has an exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism with a high degree of integrity discretion and judgment. Able to run and maintain a smooth office routine and meet necessary deadlines. Very good language skills in spoken and written English and an additional language. Expertise in MS Office as well as Axapta Must have the ability to manage and adapt to a diverse volume of work and manage appropriate priorities. Able to remain extremely professional, composed and competent in a multi-task, rapidly changing environment. 3 – 5 years of professional training as European Secretary or Multi-lingual Assistant from business school or vocational training college.
