IT Denmark - Måløv Look forward for a key role involving many aspects of IT, including domain modelling, solution architecture, database design, client-server application development and automation in the cross-field between IT, chemistry, biology, biotechnology and other disciplines of life science. About the department Scientific Applications develop and operate specialised computer systems supporting early stages of Novo Nordisk’s drug research. We bridge life science research and computer science. We are 9 highly skilled colleagues. We work out of Novo Nordisk’s R&D site in Måløv, Denmark, and deploy systems on sites in Denmark, China and the USA. The position You will be a part of a team responsible for development of the next generation of Novo Nordisk scientific applications suite. You will have a special role in making scientific IT solutions operational in an enterprise environment. This task includes challenges with execution in a WAN environment and keeping high standards of IT security. You will be working in development projects with system design, integration and operation but will also be evaluating 3rd party systems and challenge of vendors. You will be a project member in large projects but you are prepared to take leadership of integration projects, when needed. As a team we are responsible for both operation and development, so you will work with all phases of the software lifecycle from specification to operation. Qualifications You hold a PhD or Master's in Science with an element of computer science or software engineering in combination with a strong interest in IT infrastructure. You have a deep understanding of Microsoft infrastructure and IT security. You are qualified to design enterprise solutions in a WAN environment. Qualifications and experience with Citrix and Cloud solutions is an advantage. You value project work and are persuasive, when needed. You are good at stakeholder management and you like direct interaction with end-users.
