To deliver on our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement, an excellent opportunity is available as the Site Lead at SPX’s Søborg site. The site employs over two hundred staff focusing on Project Management, Engineering, R&D, Commercial and Operations. The Søborg facility serves as the main technology and capability centre for the Anhydro and Gerstenberg Schröder brands supplying precision engineered solutions to the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The role of Site Leader will be a dual role with priority over site leadership activities however will also take a functional position as a Project Manager for complex projects requiring multi-site input. The Site Leader responsibilities will entail the direction and coordination of activities between the functional teams in Søborg, supporting the overall business strategy as it pertains to Søborg and effective management guidance for the product deliverables that Søborg is responsible for. The role will ensure functions meet their customer and end market commitments; quality/ productivity/ cost requirements and achieve budgeted financial performance. The Project Manager responsibilities will entail the direction of complex projects requiring management of multi-site resources with high levels of functional integration. The role will be responsible for all aspects of the project from early participation in sales phases through award and subsequent execution and closure of projects that are technical in their nature. Required Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, operations, or equivalent required. MBA preferred Experience of the food processing, chemical or pharmaceutical industry is desirable but not essential Management experience in a complex matrix environment.
