If so, you could be our new colleague in our ambitious team Screening Assay Development including 22 highly skilled and motivated scientists and research associates based in Bagsvaerd. Working with our customers in cross-functional and global research projects, you’ll have responsibility for design and synthesis of new screening substrates, development of novel assays, characterization of complex natural substrates, and in general application of the organic chemistry toolbox. You also possess an analytical mindset and work in a structured way. As a person you are open and outgoing in seeking the bottlenecks where organic chemistry will have the maximum impact. In this position you need to:•Have a PhD in chemistry with documented experience with organic synthesis •Have knowledge within the following disciplines: Carbohydrate chemistry, synthesis and structural analysis; NMR and MS analysis of small molecules; Conjugation chemistry (labelling of bio-macromolecules) •Experience in working with enzymes and assays •Be a proven team player with outstanding communication and networking skills •Have drive, be proactive and highly motivated Are you the next Zymer in our team?
