About the department R&D Finance is part of Corporate Finance and is responsible for the financial management of the R&D organisation and projects. In R&D Finance you will be part of a young and dynamic finance team consisting of 14 dedicated employees. Our overall aim is to create impact through Finance Partnering to our customers and stakeholders by combining strong financial competencies with a solid understanding of the business in which we operate. The job You will take on the role as finance partner for a business unit in the R&D organisation, supporting the unit on financial matters. Our key responsibility is to secure optimal allocation of financial resources in the R&D organisation. You will be managing the financial development within the business unit you are responsible for by facilitate the budget process, provide monthly reports to senior management and prepare decision support material and ad-hoc analyses for stakeholders. Furthermore, in order to optimise the financial development within your area of responsibility, you will be involved in various projects and ad hoc analysis. Qualifications The person we are looking for has completed a relevant master's degree (ie in finance or economics) with excellent results and has 2-3 years of relevant experience. You have strong analytical skills, are proficient with MS Office products and ready to invest time and effort in your development and future career. Furthermore, it is important that you have good collaboration and communication skills, including being fluent in written and spoken English as well as being able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
