Who we are looking for For our Delivery and Deployment team, we are looking for a person with excellent Continuous Integration/Delivery skills and experience as software and web development in an Agile/SCRUM environment. Delivery and Deployment is an important part of LEGO Digital Solutions ability to deliver high quality software incrementally and continuously. The team uses state of art proven build systems, they continuously nurse and improve our release pipeline and implements innovative ideas where needed, to keep deployment of code easy and seamless. Trusted to perform As Senior Continuous Delivery Engineer you will primarily be in designing and developing Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions for our web development teams in an Agile/SCRUM environment. You will join a team of dedicated team members, where you will participate in projects and assignments to ensuring seamless integration between code check-ins, continuous integration and deployment tasks: Design and Implement scalable build, test and deployment systems applying Continuous Integration/Delivery concepts Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of continuous build/deployment systems Work to continuously improve speed, efficiency and scalability of the build and test systems Work across functional (development/testing, deployment, systems/infrastructure) and project teams to ensure continuous operation of build and test systems Automate wherever feasible Proactively communicate with the team Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes Actively participate to the implementation of DevOps concepts Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project life-cycle and ability to act within an "agile" environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, continuous integration etc.) Review requirements and other technical documentation Interact with stakeholders regarding functionality and planning Govern high code quality by utilizing your extensive experience in how to separate code concerns, setup code metrics and maintaining technical code governance. Your personal profile As a minimum you must hold a bachelor in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or other related technical fields At least 5 years of experience in Software build, Continuous Integration/Delivery and Configuration Management At least 5 years of programming experience in web development in Agile/SCRUM environment At least 3 years of Database development The ideal candidate has experience with the following areas: - DevOps, Continuous Integration/Delivery principles and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Electric Commander) - Scripting Languages (e.g. Perl, PowerShell) - MsBuild - Source Control and Configuration Management principles and tools (e.g. Perforce, Git) - Software and web development (e.g. ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) - Database development (e.g. MS-SQL/T-SQL, ADO.NET) - Agile software Development (e.g. SCRUM, Kanban) - Windows Server Management (e.g. IIS, Active Directory) - Release Management - Automation Testing - Excellent documentation skills - Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken Join the global family of LEGO In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
