Do you know how to interpret complex legal issues and present your assessment in simple and comprehensible solutions to management? Does legal project work and developing practically applicable legal tools and processes appeal to you? Then we have just the job for you as Corporate Counsel in our Legal Department in Danfoss. The position comprises a high degree of complexity, and the department is very visible in the organisation. You will, thus, be given a high degree of responsibility, and you will cooperate with people from all organisational levels in Danfoss. Projects and legal advice within competition law and contractual issues Your focus will be general legal work ensuring professional and consistent handling of agreements, M&A and anti-trust issues. You will be part of a department consisting of a group of skilled and committed colleagues working from our office in Nordborg and other Danfoss sites across the entire organisation. The position also includes: •Drafting, reviewing agreements and negotiating with external clients, providers and partners •Providing day-to-day legal advice to internal customers •Resolving compliance issues, proposing solutions and managing dispute resolutions •Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the company’s legal function •Leading or assisting the team’s effort in the preparation, implementation of internal policies, procedures and practices and in providing business guidance •You may also be assisting other teams on pre-defined tasks and projects, and as part of the Legal & Ethics organisation, you would be involved with cross-functional global legal projects. Robust corporate counsel with solid business acumen You have an advanced degree in law backed up by solid relevant experience in a private law firm or international company working with contractual issues and competition law. You have strong legal acumen and the ability to drive multiple cases and projects simultaneously. This position requires you to be ambitious, results-oriented and proactive. You collaborate well across boundaries, manage many different stakeholders effectively and thrive on working within a diverse, international environment. You have strong interpersonal skills and communicate in a clear, concise and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing (in English). You will also need to be a team player with a positive attitude as you will work closely with your colleagues to reach department goals.
