An opportunity to coordinate and further structure personal income tax related matters within a matrix of various internal stakeholders and external service providers, thus having major impact on how this functional area gets organized and managed in Maersk Oil. We have a large community of expatriated and internationally working colleagues across the 10 main countries of Maersk oil’s operations. Therefore the new role will mainly be focused on international personal income tax matters. Key Responsibilities We seek a chief conductor to manage our international personal income tax efforts globally. As International Personal Income Tax Manager you will manage the key functional efforts globally. Your goal will be to manage a transparent, homogenous and agile international personal income tax function. * You will work to continually globalize management efforts for the personal income tax function * You will own and manage Maersk Oil’s various external service provider contracts within the personal income tax area around the world * You will drive and govern a continuous effort to further standardize functional procedures and coordinated approaches to standard personal income tax situations * You will direct and coordinate liaison with government authorities Your will be working towards your goals within a matrix of engaged colleagues within HR, tax and finance functions in Maersk Oil and other Maersk divisions around the world. The role is based in our headquarters in Copenhagen and has direct reference to Maersk Oil’s Head of Tax. Who we are looking for You are an experienced and driven personal income tax professional, with an international mindset, willing and able to shape and govern a global functional area. You have a superior overview and very effective persuasion power and interpersonal skills. Furthermore we expect you to have • A relevant academic degree • 7+ years of experience with personal income tax within a well reputed accountancy or law firm or in-house in an international company • 4+ years hands-on experience with outbound international personal income tax matters • Proven ability to coordinate and manage a virtual/matrix team. *LI-HJ1 Last application date: 24 September 2015.
