Siemens Global Service Technology is a part of the Service organization with over 30 years of experience in servicing wind turbines all over the world. The department ensures technology development, implementation and technology support for all turbine models both in respect to legacy fleet and future products. It is a growing international company having a large interface to the rest of the organization. For the Project Portfolio Management department in Service Wind Power Technology we are looking for four talented and experienced Senior Project Managers. The department is responsible for driving internal projects for Service Technology meaning; product technical projects, system technical projects and business improvement projects, where some are strategic projects with huge impact on the Service Business. The main role as Senior Project Manager is to take ownership of planning and executing internal projects by following the well defined PM (at) Siemens methodology. During the processes you will be supported by highly skilled colleagues, who will help secure a successful completion of the projects. As Service Technology is a Global department with colleagues located mainly in US, UK, DE and DK, intercultural communication and collaboration experience is important. What are my responsibilities? Supporting ordering party in scoping of projects. Identify and establish strong stakeholder relations. Manage the projects according to the stage gate model. Contribute to develop and implement new processes and improvement initiatives. Evaluate on projects in order to share lessons learned with the rest of the team. Document the project through Siemens’ process for internal projects. Taking an active interest in development of junior colleagues. What do I need to qualify for this job? Ideally you have a background within engineering and you can demonstrate a proven record of previous results. You have worked as Project Manager in at least 5-7 years and are used to document your developments in a structured and professional manner. Furthermore, you are experienced in stakeholder management (internal cross-functional and external) in order to ensure best possible project results. As a person you are proactive, persistent and self-driven, and you thrive in an environment where you own the development from the need has been identified until the final solution has been implemented at our individual sites around the world. Besides, you are innovative, open-minded and extroverted. You are a skilled negotiator with the ability to communicate at all levels, and you possess excellent English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
