Then you might be the Software Engineer we are looking for in our R&D department in Nordborg. Your overall mission will be to develop application software for control systems. You will join our competent software engineering team and be working with a wide range of the most current technologies in a dedicated business unit. Software development with focus on quality and customers Your primary responsibility will be to design sub-systems and modules and implement them using C/C++.To this end, you will cooperate closely with your colleagues in designated teams, ensuring that applications and/or machines meet standards and customer requirements. More specifically, you will: •Specify the tasks based on the customer’s requirements •Create algorithms that support the given application •Perform debugging at application and hardware/software level •Ensure a high level of quality in the developed products You can look forward to be working in a multi-cultural environment where you will have contacts across the globe. Software engineer, computer scientist or similar As a minimum you hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a strong computer science component. A master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering will be considered a plus. Furthermore, you have: •exhaustive C++ programming experience •exhaustive experience designing, developing and testing multithreaded software for embedded applications •experience with programming using C/C++ and C# •experience with system level design for and implementation of a commercial software application Moreover, you have solid analytical abilities, good communication skills and a positive and open mind. You have a strong team spirit and can build relations and cooperate across borders and cultures. For this reason you also need English fluency.
