For Hub team within the Technology Department at our office in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a competent Structural Engineer to strengthen the team. The Hub team is responsible for the design of the hydraulic system, the components, the blade bearings and the casted parts of the hub. What are my responsibilities? As a structural Engineer you will be working with structural issues for the hub. More specifically, your work assignments will cover: · Structural calculations for hub related parts and bolted joints · Support for service and warranty cases · Customer support · Certification issues · Calculations for improved designs What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have an educational background as a mechanical engineer combined with minimum 3 years of structural calculation experience and a thorough knowledge of steel structures and casted materials in general · You have experience with FEA and ANSYS · You are outgoing and process-oriented, and you have the ability to work independently as well as in teams · You are structured and innovative, and your approach to task solving is both technically sound and commercially viable · You have the ability to interface at all levels in a dynamic environment · You possess strong communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
