For our Offshore Market Unit we are looking for a Cost Manager for our Large Direct Drive platform. The position within our Offshore Market Unit is placed in the Product Lifecycle Management Department in Brande. In the Cost Competitiveness Office you will work with the latest generation of offshore wind turbines together with a highly motivated group of colleagues to ensure that this line of products is profitable throughout the life cycle. The cost management role is positioned in a matrix at the intersection between long term product & portfolio strategy, technology and operations. What are my responsibilities? · Define full ‘Cost of Goods Sold’ target for platform / products based on LCoE and competitor analysis together with commercial platform management (including material, production, project execution, and warranty cost) · Identify gap to target cost, and monitor key cost drivers for current and future products (tracking measures and reporting) · Review and consolidate product platform cost overview based on 5-year forecast from key stakeholders for products within the platform · Support “Should Cost Analysis”, e.g. cost benchmarking (internal/external · Coordinate cost assessment of new options/features What do I need to qualify for this job? · You hold a relevant commercial and/or technical education on Bachelor or Masters level. · You have experience from larger international companies and are able to bridge the technical and commercial aspects of a complex product. · To succeed in the wide range of tasks you must be able to understand the big picture, our full product lifecycle, and work in cooperation with R&D, Strategic Procurement, Production, Sales, Product Integrity and top management. · You will need to feel comfortable to develop a large network in a multicultural and dynamic environment, where you must be able to establish trust while driving the organization in terms of cost consciousness and approaching topics with a critical mindset. · As a person you are self-driven and persistent while also being open and communicative. · You hold advanced MS Office skills, are able to analyze complex problems, and visually and verbally present your findings to both key experts and executives in a structured way. · Excellent English skills both orally and in writing are required In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
