Description As a central part of the SW development of one of the most promising Radiometer’s products AQT you will drive the SW activities and be responsible for the team of 8 direct reports and 11 external contractors. The software being a part of a complex medical device, you will work closely with experts within hardware, chemistry, technical support, marketing, QA/RA and in some cases directly with our customers. Your main challenge in this position will be to efficiently and transparently balance short term priorities (e.g. issue management) and long term goals (e.g., executing on long term strategic objectives). The job Your responsibilities and tasks will among others include: •Delivering new features and maintenance to software releases according to agreed roadmap, thereby delivering customer value •Efficiently managing incoming issues while at the same time improving overall quality e.g. by process improvements •Creating buy-in on decisions and transparency on the team’s execution •Ensuring a highly engaged team, where competences and processes are improved on an ongoing basis. However, we believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success: •Degree in engineering or computer science (master degree preferred, bachelor degree required) •Certification on project management is an advantage •Certification in lean tools is an advantage •5+ years of experience within SW R&D - preferably in the medical device industry •3+ years of experience in managing teams •Track record of successfully completing projects involving several functions and/or cultures in an organization •Experience with quality assurance, design control and FDA requirements •Experience from sustaining products currently on the market •Agile software project management •Experience working with off-shore teams •Fluency in English, Danish is an asset Taking responsibility as well as being engaged and committed about what you do is critical to us.
