For our Software Test Environment Team within the Technology Department we are looking for a highly skilled Tools Administrator to join our diverse team, consisting of Siemens Wind Power SW developers, testers and DevOps. The SWP Test Environment team is responsible for; the SWP test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of test environments in which automated tests are executed. The setup ranges from real time hardware in the loop simulators and large virtual VMware environments. The team is responsible for identification of new server solutions and the setup of new SWP tools to implement in the software department or throughout the Technology organization. The introduction of Continuous Delivery is a strategic goal of the department; our team has been given the responsibility of introducing it. Today the team consists of 17 skilled members distributed between Denmark and India. What are my responsibilities? · You will become the owner of several Microsoft and Linux servers. You will be responsible for general maintenance, security update and SSL certificates. · You will be responsible for both IIS and Apache web servers. · You will be administrator of all our Source Control repositories incl. server admin, user- and repository management · You will be the administrator of a wide range of tools, where you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance and support of e.g. : Build management & Artifact Repository · You will be the owner of a SQL Cluster · You will become an important player in creating and maintaining Delivery Pipelines for a range of our SWP products. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, but your dedication and experience within the System Administration field is the most important factor · You have significant experience in administrating various server setups · You can handle multiple stakeholders · You are ‘hands-on’ and can get things done in a maintainable manner · You have experience in scripting and in software tools such as TeamCity and Mercurial. · You are able to understand the issues concerning different stakeholders · You take pride in getting the development projects working more effectively · You have good communication skills · You have excellent English verbal and written language skills - a basic understanding of Danish is advantageous In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
