About the team The R&D team drives development projects within chromatographic silica gel and HPLC columns. Your new location of work is situated in Køge, at the outskirt of Copenhagen. FeF Chemicals has 150 employees and is part of the 40.000 employees in Novo Nordisk. FeF Chemicals ability to manufacture and supply high purity products, combined with our complete range of regulatory services, makes us a preferred supplier to a large number of global leading pharmaceutical companies. The Silica gel team consists of 1 specialist, 5 chemists and 6 lab technicians and is part of FeF Chemicals’ R&D department, which is Novo Nordisk’s competence center for gel technology and microscopy. FeF Chemicals’ business is experiencing high growth rates in all markets, so you will have ample possibilities for influencing the future business. The job We are seeking a candidate with strong leadership skills and experience, who is able to lead the team to deliver on the development project milestones. The department is cutting edge when it comes to silica gel technology and has a passion for improving the products. You can drive change and motivate and engage a highly qualified team to reach the department goals. Your first assignment will be to lead the task of transferring the production of ISO9001 HPLC columns (i.e. HPLC columns produced under ISO9001) from FeF R&D to FeF Manufacturing within the first ½ year in the position. After this you will build a high performing R&D team developing new advanced chromatography gels and transferring them to FeF Manufacturing for large scale production. As Team leader you will be an important key player in driving FeF Chemicals towards new great results. You will inspire, guide and set direction for your team making visible what targets to pursue, why their efforts are so important and how they work efficiently and in compliance with the standards. Qualifications You have a Ph.D. or master degree within engineering, chemistry or similar and experience in managing a highly skilled specialist team. You have a passion for developing the team and being a visible and dynamic leader in the day to day business both inside FeF and towards customers, suppliers, and collaboration partners.
