This position is an opportunity to use and expand your knowledge about NGS data analysis, web and mobile tools and the development of oligonucleotide based products for expression and functional analysis as part of an experienced and enthusiastic team of scientist at Exiqon Life Sciences main research facility in Vedbaek Denmark. The position Your will play an important role in the development of our web based NGS analysis tools, cloud based services and tools for design of custom expression and functional analysis products and in particular our new NGS initiative XploreRNA: https://xplorerna.exiqon.com You will be working with multidisciplinary and enthusiastic colleagues from IT, R&D, Services, Manufacturing and Sales and Marketing to bring products to the market backed by strong bioinformatics capabilities. We also expect you to contribute to the invention and development of other competitive Life Science products. We expect you to have • A Ph.D. in bioinformatics, systems biology or equivalent work experience or education. • Programming experience with Ruby, C and PostgreSQL (or equivalent languages). • Knowledge of RoR, JS and AngularJS (or similar). • Knowledge of PhoneGap or similar technologies. • A flair for detail while staying focused and goal oriented. • Excellent team playing skills, be reliable and confident while being able to adapt quickly. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
