We are looking for a new Global Chief Learning Officer (CLO) to drive this business critical agenda forward. We Offer As the CLO you will be responsible for developing and implementing successful learning strategies across Maersk Oil to support the company strategy. Leading a small corporate team and collaborating with the local HR teams and senior business stakeholders, you ensure the business relevant capabilities are built and delivered across the globe. Reporting to the Head of Organizational Effectiveness and working in close partnership with colleagues and Group HR you ensure alignment and integration on topics of leadership development, training philosophies and competency development. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your depth in the learning and development and drive this agenda for Maersk Oil. Exposure and visibility are high and the role offers the opportunity to make a real impact on building critical capabilities in Maersk Oil. Key Responsibilities • Creation of a defined Learning &Development (L&D) strategy aligned to the business strategy with defined ROI and clear success criteria. The strategy will detail both the internal and external channel approach, taking into account existing programmes • Develop and implement the Maersk Oil Learning and Development philosophy • Design, develop and implement a new Leadership Development Programme for our Top 100 leaders • Develop, implement and improve global policies, processes and standards • Manage overall yearly plan: working with locations and external suppliers in defining the annual target, setting up course deliveries globally and overseeing the administration process • Manage and monitor the efficiency and quality of learning vendors and internal learning management system (Cornerstone) • Work closely with the business leaders to ensure alignment on leadership development, training philosophies and competency development • Lead the learning community globally and represent Maersk Oil within the Maersk Group learning community • Lead knowledge and best practice sharing for L&D in Maersk Oil. Who we are looking for • Relevant academic degree, preferably in Human Resources, Communication or Psychology • A proven track record in HR including deep functional knowledge of L&D(design, development, implementation, maintenance) • Ability to understand the global context and complexity of a corporate environment • A credible partner who creates followership and easily builds relationships with stakeholders • A strong enabler of collaboration across functions in the organization • Ability to navigate multicultural environments • Experience in the Energy industry is considered an advantage.
