For our Product Line in Wind Service we are looking for a Commercial Sales Manager. Our expanding offshore service sales team is successfully selling service contracts for our Siemens offshore wind turbines. Siemens Wind Power has a global market leader position in the offshore market, and we are looking for an experienced financially sales professional who enjoys working in a very international environment and can help us maintain our lead position. The Commercial Sales Manager (CSM) plays an important role in the financial part of the sales process being involved in the pricing strategy, contract negotiations and other commercial and contractual matters. Major focus is on managing financial risks/opportunities of sales projects in order to ensure sound projects. A CSM actively drives and pursues business opportunities and sales leads together with the Technical Sales Manager (TSM) and takes active part in strategic projects and provides input to sales strategy. What are my responsibilities? Your main responsibilities as Commercial Sales Manager will cover: · Implementation of sales strategy and setting the pricing strategy together with the Technical Sales Manager · Management of commercial and contractual matters such as payment terms, hedging strategy, price escalation, identification of commercial risks/ opportunities, etc. · Development of negotiation strategy and management of the process from a commercial perspective up until contract signature. · Management of commercial aspects of bid phase (including tenders) and negotiation phase. · Preparation of commercial project documentation and management presentation. What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a Master in Business Administration or equivalent combined with extensive knowledge of finance and financial processes. · At least 3-5 years of work experience, preferably in a sales role · You are customer oriented and willing to travel 25-50 days per year · You are analytical, strong with numbers and have thorough financial and business acumen. · Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels. · Ability to effectively build relationships. · Fluent in English in speech and writing.
