The Position As a Digital Electronics Engineering student in Welltec your tasks will include: •Support the engineers in our Development & Engineering department in testing, laboratory prototype setup, and troubleshooting •Write firmware/software •Design digital circuits based on prototype test results and simulations •Support Welltec’s automated manufacturing testing – LabVIEW programming •Optimize firmware/software for execution speed, code size, etc. by applying appropriate mathematical techniques THE PROCESS If you are interested in the position submit your resume and cover letter online via the link below. The Candidate The preferred candidate has the following profile: •Electrical Engineering student with 50% of curriculum completed •Interest in industry experience and hands-on design •Understand basic OP-AMP circuits •Detailed understanding of digital circuit building blocks (i.e. logic gates, state machines, etc.) •Knowledge of digital electronics, including embedded designs and best engineering practices for design/layout. •Ability to write firmware/software •10-15 hours per week – depending on school schedule •Fluent in English
