We are looking for a Strong Manager for our Environment, Health and Safety department. The department is a department within overall QM&EHS in the Nacelle Production in Brande. What are my responsibilities? · Leading and developing the EHS team within plant Brande (approximately 10 employees) · Daily management and prioritization of EHS action plans and assignments · Initiating and driving EHS improvement projects · Serve as the liaison between plant management and Global EHS to ensure effective EHS programs are in place and that all necessary training is being conducted (Zero Harm) · Serve as the site expert on Incident Investigations related to associate injuries, near misses, property damage, etc. · Provide analysis of all data related to EHS performance at the plant. This would include analysis of injury trends, first aids, near miss incidents, environmental permits, etc. · Conduct routine EHS and system audits to ensure compliance and support continuous improvement · Manage and track wastes associated with the plant operations · Manage plant specific environmental regulatory permits and ensure proper reporting per permit requirements · Attend plant staff meetings and maintain open communications with plant management related to plant EHS performance and efforts · Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are a strong leader with 3+ years of professional management experience from a similar position in an international company. You have a strong customer focus, working across the entire value chain, designing solutions and implementing corrections to process- and operational issues · You have experience preferably within EHS management in the operational environment · Knowledge of manufacturing processes within heavy industries will be seen as an advantage, as would experience within the wind industry · As a person you are self-driven, assertive and process-oriented, and you have a structured approach to your tasks. You possess strong analytical and outstanding communication skills · You are a dedicated team player thriving in a dynamic environment with many cross-cultural interfaces · Finally, you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
