German speaking Back Office Controller for energy data management with strong analytical and commercial skills

Would you like to work with energy data management and ensure that contracts are handled in a highly professional environment in an international and dynamic energy company? Join us as Back Office Controller in Contract Services. You will become part of a dedicated team who is responsible for handling contract settlement in connection with wind power production, trading of electricity, natural gas and LNG. We act as support and as sparring partner for the business, and we also deliver crucial financial data to the ongoing financial reporting. The department is part of Distribution & Customer Solutions which has 1500 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling to Germany in connection with training. Your key duties will be to •handle market communication and energy data management •secure availability of settlement data for invoicing •participate in implementing an EDM system as well as various in-house system modules •planning, organisation and internal release of updates and configuration of services related to the EDM system in close cooperation with our Group IT •provide various Excel tools for data synchronisation •handle process development and implementation in a team-oriented manner. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •speak and write German fluently and English at a high level •have a relevant degree within economics or a similar discipline •have former experience with data management •advantageously have previous experience in the energy sector •advantageously have experience with IT solutions from the energy sector, such as SAP ISU and EDM •thrive in an international environment and are able to create good relationships with your stakeholders.
