You are offered a unique job opening, where you will get the opportunity to put complex skills to the test and gain exciting future career options within the Danfoss organization Areas of Responsibility: Reporting to the Head of Category, you will run challenging activities, starting with the category strategy and contractual compliance, together with supplier negotiations and risk management, and ending with driving idea generation workshops for supplier improvements and cost down projects. To succeed in this role you must be able to manage constructive supplier relationships and facilitate their performance in order to develop category supplier base. Main responsibilities are: Key Tasks: •Drive category implementation and compliance with global supply base •Drive contractual compliance with relevant suppliers Framework Agreements (FWA), including Quality Agreement and CoC •Drive process of identifying suppliers fulfilling Danfoss cross-divisional requirements •Globally monitor the supply market and provide structured input for the organization •Drive business allocation decisions to leverage category strategy and supplier footprint to maximize business value •Drive contracting and annual negotiations plans within category •Build and maintain savings pipeline and Negotiation Plans •Lead internal/external workshops to generate ideas for cost down projects in cooperation with Supplier Development Team •Participate in new product projects and production transfers ensuring execution is in compliance with category strategy •Ensure that best practices are shared across divisions In this role you are expected to be able to navigate across a matrix organization and guide collaboration partners in relevant group functions and regional business units. We are looking for: Our ideal candidate has strong comprehensive global experience with the EMS & PCB, or Electronic Components, categories with minimum 5-8 years of procurement related experience within an international manufacturing industry environment, preferably within Category Management. With a degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Management or equivalent, you are a very strong negotiator, experienced in supply chain management and with according understanding of financial tools and reporting.
