The Development Bioanalysis Department is seeking a highly qualified and motivated scientist to support our automation and computerised laboratory systems as well as laboratory data management systems in the department. About the Department The department is responsible for bioanalysis for non-clinical and clinical safety and efficacy evaluations across the entire project portfolio at Novo Nordisk A/S. We are working in a GLP/GCP regulated environment and we use WatsonLIMS for sample reception and collection of data and reporting. The department is divided into three teams with 50 end users all together and is part of the Biopharm Research Unit of Novo Nordisk A/S located in Maaloev. The Job Your main focus will be on computerised laboratory systems (e.g. automated liquid handling) and laboratory data management systems. We aim to extend the use of WatsonLIMS/other laboratory systems to optimise all current procedures transferring the laboratories from a ”pen & paper lab” to a fully automatized lab using barcodes for registration of samples, reagents, equipment etc. Your work will include implementation of new systems/optimising use of existing systems, participation in system upgrades or platform upgrades, maintenance support and accompanying change control. Qualifications You hold a BSc or MSc within natural sciences or other relevant degree and have experience from lab work with barcodes and different computerised systems as well as LIMS systems. This includes validation for intended use according to GAMP5 principles. Preferably you have experience directly with automation of bioanalytical assays on Tecan robotic platforms. The ability to think and build processes where multiple systems interact is highly desirable. You have strong written and oral communication skills in English as well as the capability to work in an interdisciplinary environment. Preferably, you are familiar with 21CFR Part 11 and GLP guidelines and have a quality mindset. You are flexible, ambitious, focused on results and have a good sense of humour. You are good at communicating and collaborating in teams. You will join a team in a highly dynamic and challenging environment within the Development Bioanalysis Department.
