This has led to a new IS organisation with the aim to deliver on a large number of projects. Therefore we are looking for a Senior Project We Offer The position is placed centrally in Maersk Oil Information Solutions (IS). You will join a team of 7 dedicated colleagues in the OCIO team (Office of the CIO) handling a variety of tasks across the IS organisation such as financial controlling and forecasts, investment portfolio, sourcing strategy, reporting, benchmarking and yearly planning cycle etc. This role will give you a unique opportunity to impact the development of IS as a business and performance management driven central entity in Maersk Oil. Key Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to ensure that the corporate IS initiatives and projects are organized and executed in accordance with business requirements, following the IS investment model and coordinated within the various roadmaps to achieve success. You will identify key issues and risks that require leadership team awareness and/or action and facilitate the appropriate leadership team involvement to minimize portfolio & project risks and help drive the Maersk Oil IS business projects/program forward successfully. Some of your tasks will be: • to develop and own PPM/PMO standards, methodologies, roadmap and tools including relevant governance model within Global IS • accountability for Global IS standardized framework for project repositories, documentation & archives, quality metrics and PM/ Process software tool • responsibility for project portfolio financial control, i.e. variance for budgets, rolling forecasts and cost allocation • to ensure that each project or initiative has effective and accurate project realization goals in terms of execution plans, budget, resources, risks, and communications • to lead and mentor project managers and ensure that each project area is effectively being managed. • responsibility for the Global PMO team, by owing the agenda and developing/providing input to meetings, documents discussion and action items. Who we are looking for To be successful in this role you will need to have senior experience in building and running PPM/PMO activities and a passion for adding value to the business by delivering the right quality solutions. Furthermore you will possess the following skills: • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, which enables you to work successfully with colleagues across different levels and backgrounds • Analytical mindset making you able to handle high complexity in your problem solving • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English • Leadership skills: all though you will have no direct reports you will have a big influence on numerous internal stakeholders and our offshored PMO in Mumbai, India. *LI-HJ1 Last application date: 04 January 2016.
