Logging architect with Splunk experience responsible for the architecture and design of the Nordea Logging Infrastructure. As a logging architect you have the opportunity to work in a team where you are able to influence and drive the future Nordea logging solution. The goal of Monitoring, Logging and Search is to provide Nordea with a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with high focus on creating a reliable long-term IT infrastructure as well as on cost efficiency and effectiveness. The position we offer In current and future organisations logging is becoming more and more important. Managing the vast amount of data in a Big Data environment is crucial to the operation of modern IT environments. As a logging infrastructure architect, you will drive the architecture and development for the current and future logging platform in Nordea. You will work requirements identification and translation into design for improvement of the Nordea Logging Infrastructure and the use of Splunk as a logging platform. You will also design solutions for analysis and reporting based on collected logging information. The work will include analysis and presentation tasks, deciding and presenting changes for new solutions in the logging domain. You are also expected to work on the design and development of the solution. It is not a pure architect role, hand-on, technical work with the solution is also expected. You will be part of a team ensuring methods and procedures exists for constant operational availability of our logging service, as well as technical implementation instructions for changes, improvements and new solutions. As part of the logging team, you will provide management input and make decisions directly influencing the future of logging systems in Nordea. We are working in a distributed cross Nordic organisation. It is mandatory that you enjoy working in a virtual organisation with team member in other countries. The qualifications you need You have experience working with logging services on technical platforms (Windows, UNIX/LINUX and/or mainframe) and you are familiar with business requirements identification and architecture specification. You have an understanding of the challenges and tasks involved in keeping a high-availability service running in an enterprise environment, and a desire to provide the best solutions possible. Prior knowledge of Splunk is required. Your technical skills are high, and you are able to analyse complex problems and situations to make the right decision at the right time.
