As Project Manager in Secure Power you will lead adaptation or development projects, going from marketing activities through R&D, industrialisation and manufacturing them all the way up to delivering them to our customers. Located in Kolding, Denmark, you will be responsible for the achievement of the defined Quality, Cost and Lead-time targets of projects operating world-wide. Follow offer creation process flows The overall scope of your role is to lead our projects. You play your part to adapt, develop, launch and maintain Uninterruptable Power Supply systems meant to support critical backup power solutions. To do this, you lead cross-functional, cross-cultural teams and follow the Offer-Creation-Process (OCP) of products, solutions and commercial offers. And you use your industrial sense to lead in a quality and cost driven manner, while controlling the lead-time, ensuring that we meet the time-to-market. Take a leadership position to ensure quality You will be working closely with multiple functions from the company, to make sure all Schneider quality requirements are embedded in the project management plan. As project manager you take on a leadership position. Here, you ensure coordination internally as you work with Quality, Industrialisation, Purchasing and Global Supply Chain. And you present the go or no-go decision at each milestone. To succeed you: •Direct cross-functional team activities in a rigorous stage-tollgate product development environment, ensuring compliance with product specifications by using relevant methods. •Provide leadership, direction and agility for team members in a complex shared resource environment, leveraging competencies around the globe and around the clock. •Engage and lead while including factories in the decisions you take. •Take responsibility for project budgets and product introduction timing, applying robust product development and quality management system processes and tools. Project manager with leadership abilities •You hold an engineering degree combined with 5+ years of experience with project management, plus significant experience with global project coordination. A business degree in addition will be an advantage. •Preferably, you have an industrial background from medium volume manufacturing. •You are fluent in English (written and spoken) – and proficiency in Danish or other languages is a plus. Personally, you are outgoing and trustworthy, and you are an excellent communicator, who always maintains a high service level and thrives when helping internal and international colleagues.
