We have an opening for a position where we're looking for an Oracle Middleware Engineer with experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Platform. Someone who would like to take responsibility for developing our PaaS offering further as well being part of developing our other shared infrastructure services to the rest of the IT organization in Nordea. The position we offer In the position we offer, you will be responsible for developing and manage our Oracle Business Intelligence Platform which we offer the Nordea organization as PaaS (Platform as a Service). As we focus very much on compliancy and efficiency as parts of the value chain in our domain, the role offers you the possibility to develop and improve the platform capabilities as well as its supporting services. You will therefore not only work with highly skilled and professional colleagues but also directly towards our supported internal Business IT units and their representatives which could be seen as “internal customers” to our services. You will have a great opportunity to meet and collaborate with professionals from roles as Project Manager, Developer, System Analyst, Change Manager or perhaps a Solution Architect who all are stakeholders to our services and are putting requirements toward us. As an Oracle Middleware Engineer, you’ll be working in a team of specialist that share a common interest and responsibility for Nordea’s middleware java platform which we named with the appropriate name - “Ninja”. You will work closely with several Oracle Fusion Middleware products in a scalable High Available infrastructure. As a team member you will support the unit’s mission and strive towards Automation, Compliance and Self Service Solutions. The Hosting Domain for Java applications currently host over 250 applications and is growing rapidly. Within Group IT I&O Infrastructure, unit Hosting and Integration is responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise services for the Java Engineering Domain as part of shared infrastructure offered in Nordea IT. You will be positioned in sub-unit Platform and Integration Services who has the focus on developing the Java platform capabilities and supporting services as well integrating business applications to the platform. The team is represented in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki. The goal of Hosting and Integration is to provide Nordea with a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure with high focus on creating reliable long-term enterprise services, platforms and frameworks that provides value for Nordea’s business areas.
