DTU Management Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark invites applications for a position as part-time lecturer in Strategic Management in Engineering. The lecturer will be affiliated the Industrial Dynamics and Strategy group within the department’s Technology and Innovation Management division. Responsibilities and tasks The position involves teaching in strategic management in engineering and participation in the further planning and development of the related courses. Co-supervision of master thesis students is part of the responsibilities. The position includes examination commitments. Qualifications Applicants for the post of part-time lecturer must have a master’s degree as well as additional qualifications at high level, for example particular areas of specialisation, expertise or practical experience achieved through employment involving practical application of the discipline. Teaching qualifications form part of the basis of the assessment. It is important that the candidate possesses a theoretical foundation in framework of strategic management of technology. Practical experience in strategic management of technology from industry or consultancy is considered an advantage. Assessment In the assessment of the candidate’s consideration will be given to the ability to teach and communicate. Salary and terms of employment The appointment will be based on the collective agreement for part-time lecturers at universities and others. The position is time-limited to 4 years and includes up to 120 hours per year. Start date is February 1st 2015.
