Do you want to help ensure that our environmental work supports our ambition to become a global leader within green energy, while we operate our business in a sustainable manner? Join us as Senior Environmental Advisor in our Group Environment team. We are responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the Group's new environmental strategy in close collaboration with the environmental departments in our four business units. In Group Environment, we respond to the environmental themes that are of strategic importance to the business and to our stakeholders. Moreover, we develop and manage DONG Energy’s portfolio of environment programmes to support the company’s journey to become a global leader within green energy while operating our business sustainably. The department is part of our Group functions which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Support, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key tasks will be to - lead our work on developing a Group-wide strategy for addressing and managing the indirect impacts we have on the environment, including mapping of impacts, prioritisation, measurement, data collection and target setting - prepare action plans describing how to implement the strategy in collaboration with colleagues from our four business units. Your qualifications and core competences include that you - are motivated by the possibility of creating changes in a large organisation - have substantial experience with driving complex projects in a large organisation with many internal and external stakeholders and are able to prepare a realistic and well-thought-out action plan - have substantial experience with development of private sector strategies within climate; circular economy and/or biodiversity and ecosystems services - have an analytical mind-set with a soft spot for detailed understanding as well as wider strategic considerations. In addition, it is crucial that you have experience with environmental data and how companies' indirect impact on the environment can be mapped, measured and managed. You also have experience with prioritisation of impacts as a basis for building an environmental programme with a clear strategy, governance and action plan. Moreover, you have a strong drive and are ambitious about your own deliverables and results. You also enjoy working with a variety of professions and you have strong people and communication skills, enabling you to establish relations across business units and departments. Finally, you speak and write English fluently.
