Do you have strong analytical and commercial skills? Join us and become Senior Commercial Manager in Customers & Markets with responsibilities for contracts and new business to energy retailers across Europe. You will lead development of existing partnerships as well drive new business opportunities to small and mid-size energy retail companies. Our objective is to build competitive partnerships with energy retailers, existing and new partners in Europe, to establish a strong foothold in energy supply to end user. The department is part of Customers & Markets, which has more than 1600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Customers & Markets handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility You will join a small commercial team that is part of our retail partnership organisation. The organisation consists of 25+ people with responsibility within commercial and operational tasks towards existing and new partners. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •handle contract management of supply and funding contracts and related commercial analysis and optimisation •be project lead on new initiatives and implementation of new contracts •conduct contract preparation and negotiation with existing and new partners •drive commercial development of our retail partnership business model/concept (ie credit assessment model and energy supply models and partnership strategies) •engage with potential new customers and market our proposition in Europe. Your profile You have a master's degree in economics, engineering or an MBA coupled with extensive relevant experience – preferably from energy wholesale or consulting. Your background would preferably entail experience from a European or International energy company or energy consultancy. Results within energy contracting as well as excellent analytical, project management and communication skills. You must have a strong profile enabling you to engage in commercial negotiation with our partners and at the same time, handle complex data tasks that requires focus on details and industry understanding. It is very important that you can translate energy retailer propositions into compelling energy supply solutions across the energy value chain. You have sound collaboration skills and are highly motivated by creating results in close cooperation with partners. As we operate in a highly international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English – and preferably also Dutch – fluently.
